Wakulla State Forest From Tallahassee, take Highway 319 south to Highway 61, turn onto Highway 61 for 7 miles, turn east on Highway 267 for 2 miles; trailhead and parking are on the north side of Highway 267.

A wide variety of recreational opportunities await visitors to Wakulla State Forest. Hiking, horseback riding, biking, picnicking, birding and nature study can be enjoyed using existing service roads, old road beds and established trails. This state forest is part of the Big Bend Scenic Byway. The Double Springs Multi-use Trail loop is 4.5 miles in length.
