Orchard Pond Road Trail
The unpaved Orchard Pond Road trail spans for 3.43 miles and offers plenty of fun, outdoor recreational activities to its visitors. As the newest addition of Leon County’s trail system, the natural environment attracts hikers, bikers, runners and equestrians.
The trail has been developed as part of Leon County’s effort to create a community wide greenway system that links different areas and contributes to the preservation, protection and enhancement of biologically diverse wildlife areas and natural habitats.
The trailhead can be accessed via Old Bainbridge Road where accommodations for horse trailers and passenger vehicles are available. Another trailhead that can only be accessed by passenger vehicles is located at Orchard Pond Parkway off the toll road.
Featured Uses: Hiking, biking, running/walking, and horseback riding. Leashed dogs are permitted.
